Aging is a continuing process that starts at age zero. We usually do not put any thought to it until we see something, a physical manifestation that reminds us of that fact. Then we go around blindly searching for the top anti aging products and treatments we can find out there without researching about how to approach this most basic human condition correctly and most effectively.
Note that I did not use the word “problem” in the previous paragraph. Aging is a fact of life and it only becomes a problem when it is already impeding your ability to do the most basic human functions. And that doesn’t come until you are really old (say, above 60 years old). But aging does have manifestations that most of us view as something less than ideal which we try to cover up by cosmetic methods or some other methods we have come up with.
Below are the basic signs of aging?
- Lower Energy Level – This is when you start noticing that you can not seem to do prolonged physical or mental stuff that would have been easy to do years ago. You used to go out at night and stay up till the wee hours but you can’t seem to do that now without feeling low on energy.
- Weight Gain – This is perhaps one of the most common manifestation of aging which causes some emotional stress. Weight gain doesn’t necessarily mean you are aging but there are some hormonal changes that happens in aging that can make it easier for your body to pack more of the poundage.
- Poorer Memory and Mental Concentration – The brain also loses some of its capacities as we age. In fact, we lose neurons (they literally die) as time goes by. Aging is a natural coincidence of such degeneration in our brain. But this sounds more serious than it is and should be no cause for panic or stress. Fact is, we can stop or slow this down by simply doing enough to keep our brains active and sharp. That’s a very simple solution really. Just keep thinking!
- Lowered Tolerance for Stressful Activities – When being under pressure is causing you more stress than before. This is more of a mental issue and there are anti aging treatment programs that deal with this as well.
- Wrinkles, Fine Lines, Skin Spots – This is the most noticed sign of aging and is the target of so many anti aging products out there which range from anti aging vitamins and supplements to drastic cosmetic solutions like botox injections and other cosmetic surgical procedures.
- Reduced Active Mobility – This is a more advanced aging symptoms and hence are for those in ages that are probably 50 and above. At this age wrinkles should no longer be an issue and your main focus should be living that healthy lifestyle that enables you to make the best of the years ahead.
As you can probably realize, aging is a multi-faceted process and if we wish to slow it down, then we should consider using anti aging products that go beyond just vitamins and supplements but a complete program that enhances energy level, optimizes weight control, sharpens the mind and memory, increases resistance against stress, provides adequate anti aging skin care treatment, and maximizes physical mobility through proper exercises.
